My favorite microjig pattern is a metallic silver chenille body with some fibers from a grizzly hackle for the tail. I usually hang it below a foam popper as a drift indicator.

Great video and instruction, that's the exact technique I use to catch tons of yellow bass (and trout, and bluegill, and everything else) around Omaha. I'll sometimes add a trailer fly like a damsel nymph, soft hackle, or pheasant tail about 12" back.

Very timely post/video, Chad! And right on the money as well! :) I had some followers on my blog last week asking for more information on this technique, and I just posted a response yesterday. I'm going to add links to your videos to my blog post, so those guys can see someone doing this. Excellent!

This is an incredibly effective technique...and has become by far my most effective way of catching crappies.
